December 12, 2022(1 event) – Join us at the library to create your own snowflake decoration. Registration is required. Supplies will be provided. Ages 15 and up. |
December 13, 2022(1 event) – Children 2 & 3 years of age, and their caregivers, are invited to a toddler storytime featuring stories, fingerplays, and songs that teach early literacy skills. |
December 14, 2022(4 events) – Come hang out and play some video games! We provide the video games...you bring your friends to join in on the fun! Ages 12-18. – Children and their families are invited to create and play with lego in an hour of free play and fun. Finished creations will be displayed in the library for the rest of the month! – The New Chicago Planning Commission meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 5:00pm, if there are people or businesses on the agenda for that month. To be added to the agenda, please contact the Town Hall the Thursday before the next meeting at the latest to ensure that you are added to the agenda. Those who are not on the agenda will not be heard at the meeting. Town Hall 122 Huber Blvd New Chicago, IN 46342 – The New Chicago Town Council meets the second Wednesday of each month at 6:00pm. December 15, 2022(1 event) – Babies and their caregivers will participate in stories, nursery rhymes, finger plays, and music activities designed to enhance important pre-literacy skills. |
December 16, 2022(1 event) All day Pickup of recycling takes place every other Friday. If a holiday occurred that week, it will be picked up on Saturday. |
December 17, 2022(2 events) – Bring your craft projects from home and join us to chat with fellow crafters and work on your project without the interruptions of home. All are welcome. – Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! Hey, there! Dear friends & family, New Chi Park & Rec wants you all to come sing your heart out at a good-old-fashioned, spirit-warming,COMMUNITY SING-ALONG! Please join the celebration at Twin Oaks Park on Saturday December 17, from 2-4 p. For more cheer, there will be a bonfire & the Old New Chicago Snack Shack will be open for warm drinks! Bring a wild bird seed ornament to trim the park tree! Musicians - bring an instrument, if you wish! Songsheets will be provided. And for even more holly-jolly, there’s a cookie swap, too! Bring a boxed baker’s dozen of your favorite holiday cookies to swap for a box of someone else’s favorites. #newchiparks&recsingalong |
