December 5, 2022(1 event) – Are you a fan of anime or manga? Come to the Lake Station-New Chicago's Teen Anime Club to find new anime to watch and to discuss your favorite manga. Ages 12-18. |
December 6, 2022(2 events) – You can also play the LCPL catalog BINGO game all month long. Learn more and get BINGO sheets at the Lake Station-New Chicago Display Case during the month of December. – The New Chicago Parks Board holds their monthly meeting the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00pm at the New Chicago Town Hall. December 8, 2022(1 event) – Babies and their caregivers are invited to an evening program where participants will hear stories, do finger plays, sing songs, and take part in other pre-literacy activities. |

December 13, 2022(1 event) – Children 2 & 3 years of age, and their caregivers, are invited to a toddler storytime featuring stories, fingerplays, and songs that teach early literacy skills. |
December 14, 2022(2 events) – Come hang out and play some video games! We provide the video games...you bring your friends to join in on the fun! Ages 12-18. – Children and their families are invited to create and play with lego in an hour of free play and fun. Finished creations will be displayed in the library for the rest of the month! |

Dear friends & family, New Chi Park & Rec wants you all to come sing your heart out at a good-old-fashioned, spirit-warming,COMMUNITY SING-ALONG! Please join the celebration at Twin Oaks Park on Saturday December 17, from 2-4 p. For more cheer, there will be a bonfire & the Old New Chicago Snack Shack will be open for warm drinks! Bring a wild bird seed ornament to trim the park tree! Musicians - bring an instrument, if you wish! Songsheets will be provided. And for even more holly-jolly, there’s a cookie swap, too!
