With the start of the new year, any contractors planning to perform work in the Town of New Chicago will need to obtain a contractor license from the Town Hall. This includes contractors who started working on a project in 2021 that is running in to 2022.
Dog Registration (with proof of rabies shot) and Business License Renewal are both due by January 31st, 2021.
Landlords must submit for the renewal of their properties by April 15th, 2021.

When is trash and recycling pickup?
Trash is picked up every week on Friday. Recycling is picked up every other week on Friday. To see when the next recycling pickup is, visit the New Chicago Events Calendar. If there is a holiday that week, pickup is moved to Saturday (this is not reflected on the calendar).
Where can we pay our water bill?
Right now, the water bill must be paid at the town hall by either cash or check. There is an after hours drop box in the center median of the road directly across from the town hall that you can drop it off in.
