Welcome to the New Chicago Parks Department! Featured in the slider above are pictures from all three of our beautiful parks here in New Chicago. Each park has a pavilion that is available for rent from April 1st through October 31st. Want to rent one of the pavilions? Click here to get a copy of the rental form to fill out and bring to the New Chicago Town Hall. The form can mostly be filled out electronically before printing.
Banner Advertisements at Twin Oaks Park
The New Chicago Parks Board is now allowing businesses to advertise along the fence line of Twin Oaks Park. The cost of advertising ranges from $100 to $300 per year depending on which spot along the fence is chosen. For full details and to see the advertising agreement, click here or see below. Location Index
The locations listed, both in the advertising agreement and in the current list of available spots run as follows:
- Basketball Court Locations are the 12 spots running along the fence near the parking lot to the heading towards Tyler St. Spot 1 would be the furthest South spot closest to the garage building while spot 12 is the furthest North spot closest to Tyler St. All spots are currently available.
- Tyler St Locations are the 31 spots running along the fence line along Tyler St. Spot 1 would be the furthest West spot closest to the entrance to the park and Tyler St while Spot 31 is closest to the corner of Tyler St and Lake Park Ave. All spots are currently available.
- Corner of Tyler St and Lake Park Ave locations are the 3 spots right on the corner of the fence line facing the intersection. Currently, only spots 1 and 3 are available on that corner. Spot 1 is closest to Tyler St while spot 3 is closest to Lake Park Ave.
- Lake Park Ave locations are the 60 locations running along Lake Park Ave. Spot 1 would be the furthest North near the intersection of Lake Park Ave and Tyler St and spot 60 would be the furthest South near the edge of the park. All locations are currently available.

New Facebook Page
The New Chicago Parks Department will be retiring the current Facebook Group and transitioning over to a Facebook Page. The current Facebook group will remain active until March 1st, 2025. Click here to go directly to our new Facebook page where information and events will be listed also!
Rummage & Craft Market 2025
The first Rummage & Craft Market will be held on May 3rd, 2025 (May 4th, 2025 as a rain date). A 10′ x 10′ space will be available for $25 and a 10′ x 20′ space will be available for $40.
Sign up for the spots will begin on February 1st, 2025. A layout of the spaces and sign up sheet will be available at the town hall. Check or cash accepted for payment. Please make checks payable to Town of New Chicago with Parks Rummage in the memo line.

Rental Costs
Below are the costs for residents and non-residents to rent one of the pavilions at our parks:
- Resident Family Weekdays (Monday – Thursday) – $150 ($100 deposit + $50 rental fee)
- Resident Family Weekends (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) – $175 ($100 deposit + $75 rental fee)
- Resident Organization Weekdays (Monday – Thursday) – $175 ($100 deposit + $75 rental fee)
- Resident Organization Weekends (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) – $200 ($100 deposit + $100 rental fee)
- Non-Resident Family Weekdays (Monday – Thursday) – $175 ($100 deposit + $75 rental fee)
- Non-Resident Family Weekends (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) – $200 ($100 deposit + $100 rental fee)
- Non-Resident Organization Weekdays (Monday – Thursday) – $200 ($100 deposit + $100 rental fee)
- Non-Resident Organization Weekends (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) – $225 ($100 deposit + $125 rental fee)
- Fund Raising Groups Weekdays (Monday – Thursday) – $150 ($100 deposit + $50 rental fee)
- Fund Raising Groups Weekends (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) – $175 ($100 deposit + $75 rental fee)
- Non-Profit Groups* – $100 ($100 deposit + $0 rental fee)
*Proof of 501(c)3 will be required at time of application.
Each rental has a refundable deposit providing you have cleaned up and emptied your trash at the end of your event. For more information on what dates are available for rent, please contact the New Chicago Town Hall or take a look at the town calendar. As rentals are reserved, we are updating the town calendar to show the park being rented.
